Lawrence Muhammad is one of only a few trainers in the Midwest to receive certification and accreditation from the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA-www.igshpa.okstate.edu) coupled with certification from North American Technician Excellence (NATE-www.natex.org) to proctor the exams.

Currently, Mr. Muhammad is working with Geothermal Innovations, LLC in several cities, nationwide, involved with the design and installation of city-wide geothermal districts, using their proprietary GEX.4^TM VHEX (Gii4).  These projects require trained and qualified contractors, subcontractors and field personnel who have IGSHPA accreditation.  Geo NetZero's training workshops are the only courses providing hands-on fusion training for the Geothermal Innovations GEX.4^TM VHEX, in addition to conventional U-bend. 

Geo NetZero is committed, along with Geothermal Innovations, LLC, in the development of an apprenticeship program to produce a skilled and qualified workforce, throughout America, to meet the growing demand for geothermal technology field personnel and installation contractors.

Mr. Muhammad, as a college instructor, teaches:  Geothermal Heat Pump/Power Plant Technology Principles; Sustainable Environmental Designs; Renewable Energy Technology; and, basic math skills to workforce development programs.

Mr. Muhammad is:  Adjunct Instructor at Wayne County Community College and Macomb Community College; Certified Trainer for IGSHPA (International Ground Source Heat Pump Association) for GHEX Installers, Fusion Technicians and Vertical Loops, and is an Accredited Installer; Member of the Association of Energy Engineers; Licensed Residential Builder-Michigan; HUD 203(k) Housing Consultant; Continuing Education instructor on Environmental Hazards and Home Inspections at Middleton Real Estate Training; Advisory Board for Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice; and, CEO of Geo NetZero.  Mr. Muhammad is a lifelong resident of Detroit, Michigan.
